MICHELLE
Hi, I am here to help you understand the difficulties and concerns you are facing. I offer a non-judgmental safe warm space in confidence and understanding. Having the support and a listening ear to help you explore these feelings can help you on your life's journey in these difficult times, together we can tailor your sessions to suit your needs.
I am a registered member of B.A.C.P and have been a therapist in different capacities for over 35 years. I trained as a Holistic Therapist, Hypnotherapist, Reiki master, and Emotional freedom therapist which eventually led me to become a Counsellor.
I am a mum and a grandmother and have experienced sadness, bereavement, anxiety and uncertainty in my life along with my own private counselling when I needed some support.

THE PROCESS

1. Exploration
The first step involves exploring and understanding the issues or challenges you're facing. This often begins with open and honest communication with your counselor, where you feel safe to express your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment.

With newfound awareness and understanding, the healing process moves towards insight and growth. Your counselor will help you challenge negative beliefs, develop coping strategies, and explore healthier ways of thinking and behaving.

The final stage of the healing process focuses on integrating newfound insights and skills into your daily life. Your counselor will support you in applying what you've learned in therapy to real-world situations, helping you navigate challenges and setbacks with resilience and self-compassion.
